Remember, players can see how many cards you disgard and may use this as an indicator to the potential of your hand, e.g. discarding 1 card may be a sign of a player looking to complete a straight or flush. Siginifcant bets post the draw may indicate the player was succesful. 3 disgarded cards is common and shows the player may already have a pair.
