Martin Silke Wins GUKPT London
Martin Silke, a poker professional from Ireland, won the GUKPT London tournament last weekend, bagging a sizeable £172,850 prize for his efforts.
The poker tournament became a headsup against between Silke and local man, Londonder Luke trotman. An hour into the one on one contest, Silke took the title after an embarassing hand for Trotman who thought his rivered flush had beaten Silke only to find that the river had given Silke the full house. Silke wrapped up the game after a few more skillful hands, with Trotman never able to recover. He shouldn't feel too bad though, his second place bagged him a tasty £103,000. Imagine what he could do if he knew the poker hands!
